We have decided to write a small tutorial on how to build several websites via sub-domains since our own websites and sub-domains just went through a major re-structure related to legacy implementations. The aim of this post is more organizational than technical “per se”, it relates to pre-implementation thoughts.

Major changes to TechGasp domain structure are taking place. Check out below if it affects your extension or subscription.

Let me start by saying that wordpress 4.x versions were awesome and with minimal releases, specially security releases… that means version 4 was solid as a rock. Not only that, versions 4.x also saw great many new improvements, do you still remember wordpress “Benny” from September 2014? Yeap, that was the official 4.x release. Many things have changed in a good way since those days and November 2019 will see the official launch of wordpress 5.x branch, 5.0 “Gutenberg”.

That’s right folks, a much needed revamp was done today to our favorite open source content management system.

Probably, the first semester of 2018 will see the birth of the forth generation of our favourite Content Management System, Joomla 4.0. Packed with great new features like framework 2.0 and must have improvements like stock php 7, read more below.

At TechGasp we use payplans to manage our joomla subscriptions, no secret. A couple of days ago we found a security issue that affects payplans from version 3.2.x to 3.6.2 (huge array of versions in between). If you use payplans make sure to urgently upgrade to version 3.6.3.

History is about to made by Spam Master, 2 million protection threats… and you wonder why this is the best spam protection for wordpress?
